Hunter River Salinity Trading Scheme - Licensing scheme for discharges of saline water from mines and power stations into the Hunter River catchment above Singleton.

Manly Hydraulics Laboratory - Providers of specialist services in the area of water, coastal and environmental solutions. Site features real time environmental data from monitoring stations positioned around NSW.

Marine Parks Authority NSW - Established in 1997 to co-ordinate and oversee the establishment and management of marine parks in New South Wales. The group manages the state's three marine parks at Solitary Islands, Lord Howe Island and Jervis Bay.

Natural Resources Information Management Strategy - Searchable interface to natural resource data from NSW such as flora, fauna, land, water and air. Most information is held by government agencies.

Upper Parramatta River Catchment Trust - Established in 1989 to accelerate the provision of flood mitigation works and measures, improve water quality and undertake associated activities in the catchment. Downloadable GIS information including aerial photographs, sub-catchment boundaries, roads, contours, vegetation and soil types.

Water Information - Information about the rivers of NSW including flow rates, most updated daily. Weekly information about the current storage and discharge details from the states dams is also available.

The Wonga Wetlands - A project involving the revitalisation of this wetland area by redirecting treated wastewater throughout the winter months, returning the system to its original hydrologic regime.
